Vampires Promise

The idea for Vampire's Promise began as a place to display my own vampire related art. My muse seems to be holding me steady in the vampire genre and I have now done quite a few vampire related 3D renders. I have also made many great friends on Deviant Art, many who also enjoy working in the vampire theme, and most cases produce work much more stunning than my own. Rather than limit the site to my own vampire related work, I thought it would be much more interesting to display the work of other artists. As much as possible and always with permission to do so, I intend to do just that.

And then another idea occurred, there is so much about vampires that people may find fascinating, why just limit the site to vampire related art work? No good reason I could think of so Vampire's Promise will also include stories with a vampire theme as well as information about vampire lore, the mystic, allure, romance, and horror that is associated with vampires.

Over much of the twentieth century the popularity of vampires has grown. Many well know classic books such as Dracula and Interview with a Vampire have been written. Old black and white movies to modern movies with amazing special effects, current media favorites such as True Blood and Twilight, all have dedicated followings, so the site will have information about vampire media as well.

While the site will certainly have a focus on vampire art, its hoped that it can also serve as a good information resource.

This is the opening article for Vampire's Promise, the site is brand new with lots of room to grow. I am very excited about the project and plan to devote my passion and love of vampires to it.
